Black overbust corset
2003
This was my first attempt at an overbust corset using a Simplicity pattern. The fabric is a gold and bronze dragon brocade, bought at our local fabric market. Unfortunatly I was a bit too optimistic about my measurements and the corset ended up a bit too small to be comfortable.
I don't like having a huge gap between the lacing, so I didn't wear it much. It's pretty though, I had it on my mannequin for a couple of months because I enjoy looking at pretty clothes. I made this in 2003. |
