About this site
This site is build and maintained by me, Kyria. I'm a Dutch bellydancer with a University degree in psychology. My dayjob is too boring to mention. My sewing machine is one of my favorite items and we spend a lot of time together. I started with sewing in 1996 and started bellydancing in 1999. Needless to say that I also got involved in bellydance costuming!
Sofar I made costumes for theatre performances, bellydance costumes for myself and other dancers, gothic clothes for clubbing and everyday wear and some historical costumes. I also try my hand at a bit of photoshopping, like to model for amateur photoshoots, love to draw (and paint!) and listen to music from Rock to Folk.
In 2006 my boyfriend and I moved in and I got a whole room for myself, my costumes and my sewing machine. This site will not be updated on a regular base because there are so many other things that need my attention. However, I'm always working on new projects and love o share them with my online friends. If you're looking for me, you can find me with the nickname 'mekyria' on:
